Mikan “mandarin orange” is a fruit that has been loved by Japanese people for a long time. Since the harvest peaks in winter, it has become a New Year's tradition.

Various types of mandarin oranges are cultivated all over Japan, but especially in Odawara, the varieties of Aoshima and Otsu, which have a good balance of sweetness and acidity, are produced.
